Hannah Tansur was born c1837 in South Kilworth, Leicestershire.  She is possibly the daughter of Don and Mary Tansur.

Hannah married John Wilford (c1830 - 1915) in South Kilworth in 1855. In 1881 Hannah, John (an Agricultural Labourer) and their children were living at Glebe Farm, Countesthorpe, Leicestershire.

Hannah and John had the following children:

• Walter, b. 1857, Laughton, Market Harborough, Leicestershire (1881 Census - Ag. Labourer)
• John, b. 1863, Countesthorpe, Leicestershire (1881 Census - Blacksmith's Apprentice)
• David, b. 1865, Countesthorpe, Leicestershire (1881 Census - Ag. Labourer)
• Elizabeth, b. 1868, Countesthorpe, Leicestershire
• Andrew, b. 1871, Countesthorpe, Leicestershire
• William Tansur, b. 1873, Countesthorpe, Leicestershire
• Clara, b. 1876, Countesthorpe, Leicestershire
• Sidney Hallam, b. 1880, Countesthorpe, Leicestershire
• Mark, b. 1883, Countesthorpe, Leicestershire

William Tansur Wilford and Andrew Wilford married Caroline Read and Margaret Elizabeth Pollard in 1897 in Countesthorpe, Leicestershire.

Hannah died in 1906 in Countesthorpe, Leicestershire.  John Wilford died in 1915 in Countesthorpe, Leicestershire.
